Our Cancer Research in India
It has always been a goal of mine to tell powerful stories. The story of Professor Vaskar Saha’s research is one of those as he helps to significantly reduce mortality rates in children being treated for cancer in India. Having led research which helped increase survival rates among children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) by 10% in the UK, he splits his time between The University of Manchester and the Tata Medical Centre in Kolkata, India.
